I have been a professional photographer since 1979. In the early years, I traveled with my Canon A-1 and Linhof Technika 4x5 view camera photographing the American West, amassing a stock photo library of over 10,000 transparencies. I now shoot exclusively digital with Nikon equipment, looking to craft outstanding photographs. My photos have appeared in numerous ads, books, magazines, and on magazine covers. In 2001, my family and I left California and moved to Colorado Springs in the foothills of Colorado's Rocky Mountains. I have developed a deep passion for the mountains of Colorado, and don't think there's a more beautiful place on earth.
In November of 2008, I officially started The Quiet Light, with an emphasis on bringing my finest images to print. In February of 2010, that dream was realized when a selection of my photos was made available for sale as art prints in The Quiet Light Store.
